EUROPEAN CIVIC FORUM ORGANISATION CHART

Our functioning

European Civic Forum member organisations compose the general assembly, which gathers once a year to make constitutional decisions and to elect the Board of directors. It is also a place for exchanges and proposals for action about current European matters. The ECF Board of directors decides upon new memberships which submit their applications and then relays it to the general assembly. Currently, the Board is composed of 27 organisations’ representatives, stemming from 15 countries. Its missions are to implement the decisions made by the general assembly, to define network’s strategic directions and the actions or campaigns to be settled. The Steering Committee is elected by the Board of directors and is in charge of applying the Board’s decisions.

Partnerships

In order to achieve its goals the European Civic Forum regularly involves different partners (European civil society networks and platforms, European institutions). The European Civic Forum receives an annual operating grant from the European Commission, in the frame of the Europe for Citizens program. Besides this institutional support, the ECF also tries to include different partners on various activities organised throughout the year.
