Civil Society Europe

European Civic Forum is a founding member of Civil Society Europe – the European coordination for civil society organisations. Civil Society Europe brings together 22 European networks of civil society organisations to facilitate and enable dialogue between European civil society organisations and policy-makers and help strengthen CSOs in their activities and relations with the institutions.

CIVICUS Monitor

Civicus Monitor is a global platform, monitoring developments in civic space and civil liberties across the world. At ECF, we have a strong relationship with CIVICUS, collaborating on research, holding joint events and providing regular updates for CIVICUS Monitor through our own Civic Space Watch platform.

Project Partners

chARTer Project

Led by Nyt Europa, this EU-funded project aims to use art to increase awareness of EU fundamental rights and empower people to act, engage and vote. The consortium also includes ECF and its members the Institute of Public Affairs (IPA) and Democracy International.

Net4Defenders

Led by Novact, this new project aims to promote a thriving civic space to uphold fundamental rights in the EU. Our project partners include Fundacja Uniwersyteckich Poradni Prawnych (Poland), and our members Arci (Italy), la Ligue des droits de l’homme (France) and PIC (Slovenia).

Monitoring Action for Civic Space (MACS)

This new project, led by the European Center for Not-for-profit Law, focuses on developing a methodology to assess civic space. Also partnering on the project are ECF members Okotars, FDSC, OFOP, Le movement associative and Nyt Europa as well as the Bulgarian Center for Not-for-profit Law and the Netherlands Helsinki Committee.
