Recently, the National Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations (OFOP) hosted 50 NGOs from Poland in Warsaw during two days focused on European topics.
On the first day, April 18, the 2nd Civic Congress of Monitoring Committees was held, based on workshop work in thematic subgroups of people from NGOs monitoring the implementation of EU programs in monitoring committees. Among the topics analysed were capacity building, watchdog activities in monitoring committees, civic energy, technical assistance or priorities for the Polish EU presidency.
On the second day, April 19, the Standing Conference on European Affairs took place under the Honorary Patronage of the Minister of Funds and Regional Development, Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz.
In this meeting, important themes for Poland and the European Community resounded on the future of cohesion policy, the National Plan for Reconstruction and Increasing Resilience, building the capacity of organizations to effectively participate in the system of implementation of European funds.
The next meeting in this format will take place in 2025.
